Lacy Newman is dying of a broken heart caused by the death of her husband, Drake, who was the perfect husband and she cannot find a way to go on without him. Lacy’s friend, Melissa, is the only one who still visits her while she is in this depressed state. Truly a loyal friend, Melissa is trying desperately to save Lacy from the overwhelming grief.

Drake was turned into a vampire shortly after marrying the love of his life, Lacy. Now at the anniversary of his death, he must reach out to her from beyond the grave, because she is the only one who can save his soul. As much as he wants to protect her from evil, the fate of the world rests on her grieving shoulders.

Naked in Moonlight Book One: The Bloodstone Legacy is a good start in the new series by Aurora Rose Lynn. The story has a strong premise with highly descriptive characters. Lacy and Drake are such a loving couple, that readers will feel great compassion for them. Her anguish over the death of her husband explains the behavioral jumps she makes throughout the story and her unending devotion is the best part of the book.

The ending has a strong but abrupt cliffhanger that will have readers anxiously waiting to see what happens in the next Naked In Moonlight book. This story is compelling and a great read.
