Wynn Collier hates his family’s business. He does not mind going looking for people but does not want to involve violence and guns in any way. His main concern is accomplishing the task given to him. He has something to prove and he knows he had better get it done right this time. Being distracted by a beautiful woman is not what he needs but it is something he wants.

Being caught spying on other people is not something Bonnie likes at all, but it could have been her imagination. A man shows up at her door asking personal questions such as where she is from. Nervous is only the beginning of the feelings she has around him. Wynn is completely taken by this woman. To even think she might have something to do with the people he is after does not cross his mind. He is lonely and could use some companionship and the lady does not seem to be too upset about it. He feels like he is missing something and not even the time crunch he has makes him think about it. He just wants to forget it all for once.

The heat in this book is not just due to where the book is set. There is some major heat between Bonnie and Wynn. It only helped build something between them but almost kept them apart. Ms. Stuart has some complex stuff that the characters have to deal with which kept the pace at a steady rate. I was intrigued and wondered how Bonnie and Wynn would end up after a lot of secrets were told. This hot romance had a lot of twists and turns as well. The ending was wonderful and I could not have been any more pleased!
