Adversely affecting the relationship of Traci and Zack, preventing them from thriving healthily and joyously, are stereotypical and unfounded thoughts and views of others. Characters’ thoughts are soon rightly dealt with, enabling Traci and Zack to move on. Rochelle’s clever interweaving through the novel of the fears, desires and insecurities of her characters also gives the story richness and scope.
