Photographer Derek Sloane accepts an assignment with the clothing company, Alpha Designs. For the next month, he will be photographing top model Brad Doyle. Because of a couple of disastrous relationships with models, Derek has vowed never to date another one. However, when he meets Brad, an instant attraction emerges and he finds himself continually fighting his lust for Brad.

Model Brad Doyle is a rising star with looks and the ability to go far in his profession. When a company approaches him with a modeling job, he makes a few demands before he will accept their offer. One of the demands happens to be the hiring of Derek Sloane, a famous photographer. It seems Brad has lusted after Derek for quite a while and is about to get his wish to meet him.

Derek and Brad meet and an attraction begins to bloom. However, Derek makes it clear that no hanky-panky will occur, even though Brad can see raw lust in his eyes. He soon realizes Derek is gun-shy because of his past experiences. Brad sets out to prove that Derek can trust him not to break his heart. Then a life-threatening situation occurs and Derek begins to see Brad in a new light. Nevertheless, Derek must convince Brad that his feelings are real and not part of the moment.

Oh my goodness, Ms. Stevens has written a very scorching m/m story. However, this tale is not just about raging hot sex; it is also about feelings and misconceptions. Derek learns to see past the profession of a person; to look at them as a whole being. Brad discovers the true person behind the man he has always idolized. Together these two men allow their emotions to evolve and grow. This is a story definitely worth reading.
