Julia Nash is a journalist working for Equine Earth. Her good friends are unable to race their best horse because of a question as to his pedigree. She is willing to help any way she can.

Harrison Rochester is a very wealthy English baron and diplomat. His grandmother has finally convinced him to settle down and he is about to propose to a very eligible woman. He is also involved in some very delicate business negotiations.

Julia Nash is in Dubai at a horse race. She sees a horse that is a twin to her best friend's controversial racer and tries to get a DNA sample. Instead she ends up in prison and then in the custody of the seriously sexy Harrison. There is an immediate attraction, but Harrison is sure she is a spy and all Julia knows is that she has exchanged one prison for another until he protects her by marrying her temporarily.

A combination of an exotic locale, fast moving plot, and attractive characters make this a very enjoyable story. The subplot of the putative fiancee Brittany and Harrison's best friend Alex's wild ride and romance could be a book of its own and is a welcome addition to this story. The author does a great job of describing the racing world and Harrison's palace as well as the oasis and wedding. The two unlikely lovers have chemistry from the beginning and their rocky romance is very hard to put down, so I did not and read it through in one sitting. Having read a couple of the other books in the series, I would have to say that this one is one of the best. I never could resist a story about a tall handsome English lord and a fiesty heroine with a problem. The two main characters of this story are certainly memorable.
