Sybylla St. Michael is the last witch of her kind. She tries to keep her wayward feelings to herself, knowing any interaction, with a man she loves, could cause his destruction.
Charles Dalton Marlow is a vampire cursed throughout the centuries. He feels undeserving until he meets Sybylla and it does not matter if she may be his demise.
Scar is a demon who seeks revenge against Sybylla for ruining his face and sending his demonic followers to hell. He will do everything in his power to destroy her.
Sybylla is aware the true power of the St. Michael witch lies in the connection of their mind and body. She also is aware she humiliated Scar when she ruined his face and he will do everything to get his retribution. Sybylla is the love of Marlow's life, the woman in his heart. Marlow believes they were meant to be together and still bears the hurt she bore to his heart, even though he knows there was a reason for what she did. Sybylla is afraid of no one. After she is captured by the evil Scar, Marlow must put a stop to Scar before it is too late.
Marlow's Curse is a fast-paced read that keeps the reader highly entertained. Sparks fly between Sybylla and Marlowe in this enticing hot story. I love Sybylla’s strength and courage. I thought Marlowe was great in caring for her no matter what the situation. Scar is really devilish and causes this reader to cringe. Amarinda Jones creates robust characters, while giving the reader a visualization of the settings. She hooks the reader, where this one could almost see the eye contact, as well as the intense expressions layered on their faces.
