Austin is flabbergasted when Vince approaches him at the public pool where he dives. Vince says that Austin is the one of the best divers that Vince has ever seen. Austin has never given any thought to diving professionally, to him diving is just something he does to have fun and blow off steam. Vince is offering him something he has never even dared to dream about.

Vince begins training Austin professionally. Austin has diabetes and needs special care. There is an intense attraction between them that is growing more irresistible by the day. Vince knows that getting involved with his diver could be the biggest mistake of his life, but it might turn out to be the best decision he has ever made.

Making a Splash is a wonderful addition to the Going for the Gold series of novels. I found the characters and the plot of this story very believable. Vince and Austin have several obstacles that they have to overcome. This adds a level of depth to the novel that I really enjoyed. Austin and Vince are sizzling, the sex is the perfect mixture of heat and romance. I could not put this book down!
