Lyon is born into wealth and power. At the moment he is none to happy that he must go to Paris and marry a woman he has yet seen. He is certain the scent he smells is the unforgettable scent of a Faerie and his bride-to-be.
Mademoiselle Juliette Rabelais sees Lyon making love to a woman as she crosses the bridge. She can only imagine how it would feel to be engulfed in such passion. When she suddenly begins to transform, she rushes back to her home.
Lyon is the youngest brother of the Satyrs to seek a wife. It is imperative he fulfills the destiny of King Feydon, by finding one of his daughters and marrying her, just as his brothers Raine and Nicholas. He does not believe he can ever give his heart and soul to any mate. Just when he believes he has found her, a scent catches his breath of another woman atop the bridge. The woman lying with him insists she is the one and that he must forget the other woman he sees. Lyon searches for the woman who ran off. When he comes to her home, Juliette is intrigued with him. She is certain Lyon is her mate and destiny. Just one night together proves to Lyon he only needs Juliette. Unfortunately, someone is set to destroy whatever feelings they discover with each other. When Juliette’s past is brought into the equation, Lyon searches his heart to do the right thing.
Oh wow, just when I thought the series could not get any better, Elizabeth Amber really outdoes herself with Lyon. The ingenious plot of this storyline kept me on the edge-of-my-seat. My heart went out to Lyon and Juliette. There were twists and turns that sent chills and made the adrenalin race with excitement. Lyon, The Lords of Satyr is one book with in-depth characters emitting a wide range of emotions that reach out and grab the reader. Once again the nymphs, faeries, and now Nereid’s, thrill, while blending in some erotic passions that escalate. Magic, evil, betrayal, and much more that leaves the reader in awe in this extraordinary read.
