Janelle Trent wanted nothing more than a baby. She has been married for over five years and she and her husband desperately want to share their love with a child of their own. Unfortunately she has been through several in vitro fertilization procedures without success.
Janelle’s husband, Kevin loves his wife deeply but can no longer take the strain of what the constant disappointment is doing to their marriage. Janelle has pulled away from him and can only focus on trying to conceive a child.
When Kevin leaves Janelle so that she can have some time to think, she is devastated and just cannot understand what the problem is. But after searching her soul and praying, she realizes that she is working too hard at trying to make a baby happen. Although she means well, she is alienating her husband and hopes it is not too late to make amends.
M.G. Braden’s story is heartwarming as well as inspiring. The characters were credible and based in reality. Infertility is something faced by so many couples today and through the characters, the author lets us in on the thoughts and feelings that accompany such a struggle. Love’s Blessings is compassionate and moving. It is truly a blessing to read.
