Tera is an Argon healer. Argons are highly sensual and sexual beings, irresistible to other races. Strong willed and outspoken, she finds herself physically attracted to Illam, but put off by his overbearing manner.

Illam is a Felys, a race of people with feline characteristics. Felys are also highly sexual but restrict their attentions to members of their own race. To his dismay, Illam finds himself becoming attracted to the aggravating Argon healer.

True to their feline nature, the Felys birth their young in litters. An increase in the number of runts in the litters force the Felys to request medical research assistance from the Argons. To Illam's dismay Tera is the healer sent to Felys to provide the assistance. Worse still he is forced to be her escort while she is on Felys. Thrown into close proximity, the sexual attraction between Tera and Illam rises to dangerous levels.

Love's Beguiling Healer starts slowly but it builds nicely, making it worth the wait. Interesting enough the story begins from Illam's point of view but the meat of the story is told from Tera's point of view and her character development seems more real. The author does a good job of makes the characters and various different races feel real. The attraction between Tera and Illam is very realistic, capturing the normal issues that occur at the beginning of a relationship, as well as the issues between two people from different races and cultures. The sexual tension between Tera and Illam is off the charts hot, leaving the reader wanting more. Love's Beguiling Healer is a thoroughly enjoyable red-hot erotic romance.
