Josh Dawson is a young man who is trying to build a life for himself. Surprises that have happened lately have started to have him re-think his whole life. He also is not sure where love will fit into his plans, but is focused on getting a life that will be good. He is well built, but has no one to show off for.

Jessica is sick and tired of hearing about her grandma’s exploits. She gives in to help her grandma with the “Buy a Dame” fundraiser, only because it helps raise money for the local school. When she is bought, she is not sure who this guy is but has to go along with it. There is an attraction between them, but will it turn into anything?

Ms. Stevens kept me captivated the entire time. I had to find out what was going to happen between Jessica and Josh. I could relate to Jessica because I do not feel attractive and I know a lot of the emotions she had to try to conquer. The romance was hot and steamy. The raw emotions and passion were real as well as ideal for most, but not always the end result. The journey that happened in this story was so beautiful and one I highly recommend reading.
