LORD VIPER: BOOK 1 OF THE INFERNAL NIGHT SERIES

Rating: 4 Cups
Lord Viper de L’Night is searching for his sister, Lady Starr. He is certain Lady Dominique Toussaint is responsible, along with her vampires.
Lady Dominique Toussaint believes his cousin, Aleron, is the person accountable for his sister’s abduction. If anything, she is convinced Viper is there to spy on her.
Viper is a fine specimen of Blood Vampire, a part of nobility just as Dominique. She is certain he wishes to bring her under his control. The more time they spend together only increases the pent-up longing she feels for him. She rejects any of these desires and accuses him of using his sister as an excuse to invade her domain. Viper assures her she is wrong. He has wanted her for years, just to feel ecstasy in her arms. It is a game of wits as to who will submit to the other first. As hard as Dominique pushes her feelings aside, Viper admires her determination even more. He believes her people may be in grave danger but that does not stop him from slowly seducing her into coming over to his intoxicating side. Will Dominique give into his charms or be convinced he is not there to betray her people?
Lord Viper is a sensual erotic read full of sizzling heat. The romance between Viper and Dominique is so sweltering the touch almost causes third degree burns. The characters have trust issues they are slowly able to work on. It was trying to find that one facet that connects them that kept me turning the pages. With a touch of mystery, betrayal, and heated desire, Ruth D. Kerce goes all out to create a story that slowly seduces the audience into a unique tale. I can hardly wait for book two.
