Living the party life, Hollis Lee is a country star that gets a hard, swift kick in his career and forced to shape up in order to save it. When his manager hires a personal trainer, the last thing Hollis wants to do is work, but a developing attraction makes some of the gruesome work out bearable. Can this new change do more for Hollis’ soul than even he thought?
Jeremy Winger has trained various people and helped them reach healthy goals. Yet when he comes up against Hollis, it takes all his energy not to lose his cool with the ill-mannered and extremely grouchy rock star. Will he be able to do his job, even though there is an attraction brimming under the surface for the country star?
When an aging rock star needs a dramatic change in his life, it comes to him by way of a personal trainer. But this trainer is fighting with an impossible, ill tempered, and grouchy rock star and it does not diminish the attraction both feel towards each other. Hiding their personal lives from the outside world and trying to overcome the situation, can the two find peace and be with each other?
Filled with sarcasm, humor and heat, Living in Fast Forward gives a taste of a life spun out of control and the road back. The two lead characters were opposite as they come but with their journey to union, though a bit lacking, was interesting none the less. The heated scenes woven throughout the book ranged from mild to erotic and showed various dimensions as to the characters growing attraction. This reviewer did enjoy certain aspects of the book; character dialog and character development but was somewhat dismayed at others. With good recommendations, this book is pleasurable and a good way to pass time.
