Long ago to save his twin sister Jess, Hanz sacrifices his life and enters a world previously unknown to him. He has a secret that he is unwilling to share with others, even his lover Vision. When Vision’s life is threatened, Hanz once again chooses to put himself in danger to protect the man he loves.

In his business life Vision is a powerful, ruthless figure. However, when it comes to sexual preferences, being forced to submit is intoxicating for Vision. In addition, if a little pain is involved the more aroused he gets. Hanz loves Vision enough to provide him with whatever he needs. Hanz learns that Vision is being threatened and to save him he will even give up his life in exchange.

This story intermingles the past with the present. Ms. Fiddler writes about Vision’s life today but gives her readers a glimpse into his past showing how he became who is now. This tale is not for the faint of heart either. There are no hearts and flowers with this book, just down and dirty raw sexuality. Since this is the second book in the Master of the Lines series, I do want to go back and read the first story.
