Marisol Winston loves to shop but her father refuses her another dime until she goes into shop therapy because of her shopaholicism.
When Cash Connelly left the NFL, he never knew he would be making public appearances in supermarkets. Now desiring a comeback, he must find a good nanny.
Surviving a few weeks without shopping, Marisol grits her teeth to get though the idiotic therapy thrown in her life. The words, counseling, workshops and job replacement assignments made her cringe. When she gets a temporary job as nanny and part-time housekeeper, to three children and their football dad, she learns a shopaholic cannot be picky. Cash has three weeks to find a nanny before training camp but for some reason he has trouble keeping a nanny. If he can just find the right nanny that does not run at the sight of goo, he will be okay. Marisol does not strike him as nanny material. One look and he sees Penthouse material babe that knows nothing about taking care of children. Marisol has her hands full but in time the children realize that Marisol is the best nanny they have seen. Now it is up to the heiress and the comeback kid to see they can make a life as a family if they try.
Let’s Misbehave is a most delightful story. Marisol is charming and I love how she goes through her trends of finding her true self. Marisol and Cash go about sorting out the real things in life that matter, making this a delicious page-turner. Lisa Plumley has a knack for making the reader feel the emotions of the characters and the ambience of the story. The blending in of the children and the secondary characters all group together to make one scrumptious read.
