Leanne Jamison is a divorced woman who runs a business with her two best friends that caters to single men who need help with business dinners. When she meets Mike Andrews for the first time at a business dinner she is hired to help with, she thinks he is very hot.
Mike Andrews is a successful marriage counselor and the father of twins. He takes one look at Lea and thinks he has died and gone to heaven. She would be the perfect wife for him at the business dinner he is holding for a potential publisher. He thinks she is Paul’s wife and is happy to find out she is not.
When Mike asks Lea to host his dinner, she agrees. When Mike tells Lea that he wants her to actually be his wife for this dinner, she is not very comfortable with the idea. However, when mutual attraction takes over, she changes her mind. When both their ex’s show up, it really gets interesting. Will their relationship survive the meddling, and their differing thoughts on marriage?
Let Me Entertain You is a fun book! It is hilarious in places mainly because of the twins’ antics, although the adults were pretty darned funny as well. I enjoyed reading how Mike grew emotionally when it came to understanding why marriages split up, and Lea’s part in that. The sex is especially hot and there were times this reviewer needed a good fan! Lea and Mike fit very well together even when they did not completely agree with each other, and I found that refreshing. I savored every word in this book like I savor chocolate; as slowly as possible. I highly recommend Let Me Entertain You, and greatly look forward to more books by this author.
