Colton and Diego share a connection that no one can tear apart. But the strain is on their relationship as things start getting ugly at their ranch. Diego tries his best to make Colton let him go to confront the man who is his ex-lover and now posing as El Tigre, but Colton is the law and he wants to handle it. When Colton comes back injured, they both realize that the next step Rodrigo takes will be to kill Colton.

Even though the story starts slowly, the way it is written keeps the reader interested. Ms. Black is able to show the love between her characters and the people they care for in great detail. She describes their ranch perfectly and the scenes across the border as well. There is one character who did not have their actions summed up in the end, but that can be overlooked. This is a good read and I did enjoy it.
