He confronts Jillian and tells her that she will be his, but she resists him. He enlists her help to find the leader of the rogue wolves and in doing so, puts her in extreme danger. As they get closer to discovering who is behind everything, both of them realize just how far the leader will go to remove them. But, in the end, will this bring them closer together or drive an even bigger wedge between them?

Hot, alpha Runners and strong, butt-kicking women. Who could ask for anything more? This second book in the Blood Runners trilogy is just as action packed as the first. The mystery of who is behind the rogues left me stumped. I hung on every word and held my breath with anticipation. I am waiting anxiously for the third book in the series. Ms. Byrd has definitely gained a new reader in this reviewer.
