Jamie Finch is the undisputed king of Desmond Academy. It seems everything is going great, until a new kid shows up and threatens what he has. That is something Jamie will not stand for.

Kabe North has been in love with Jamie forever it seems. They have been together for four years and are still going strong. He is also the only person who can calm Jamie down at times. When Sam steps in, will Kabe survive the fallout?

Sam sees Kabe his first day at Desmond's, and knows then and there he wants him for himself. But the whole school sees what he is doing and at first fears for his life. Eventually, Sam makes the worst mistake of his life and almost causes Kabe's death in the process.

I honestly did not think I would like this story. But as I read it, I became engrossed in the characters. They stood out as real people. It is a wonderfully written story of young love and the strength it takes to get through the rough times. I was captivated by the depths Sam goes to in order to win Kabe over, but also disapproved of how he did it. However, I would still highly recommend this story.
