Eli Walsh has been best friends with Wolf Grant for the best part of year. Though highly attracted, he's resigned to the way things unfortunately have to be. When an opportunity arises to learn more about Grant's lifestyle and become involved in it, Eli takes the only chance he may have. Will the chance be more than even he imagined?
Wolf Grant is a successful tattoo artist who occasionally cruises for a little something more at a local gay club. When he finds his best friend looking for an introduction into the BDSM scene, he offers to tutor the man. Will the mentoring be more than Grant imagined? Will it being with Eli open wounds he wished stayed closed?
Eli has reconciled within himself that all he could ever be to Grant was his best friend. An evening clubbing though gives Eli the one dream he has always wanted, as he accepts Grant's offer to mentor him in BDSM. An evening together proves there is more hidden beneath Grant's surface. Will they be able to go past the set barrier established and see what lies beyond?
Grabbed from the very beginning, this short piece of work was fantastic. Identifying with the all too well phrase "all we can be is friends", I was taken by the authenticity of Eli's and Grant's emotions for each other. The main characters were phenomenal as they showed a complex and fascinating range of emotions. Completely moved by the heated and charged scene between them, this book easily won me over as a definite heart-tugger.
