Bliss Stroman recalls her life with husband, Ron. After sixteen and a half years, she still loves the man. When he pops the big question, she is taken by surprise.
Ron Stroman wants to do something special for wife, Bliss. He surprises her with a proposal that almost sweeps her off her feet.
Married after all these years, Bliss cannot believe Ron pops the question. To add to the proposal he would like to get married in a church, something they never did when they first wed. If anything, it would be a renewing of their vows and a proper ceremony. The man who loves to tinker with his motorcycle, at forty-three, wants to remarry her all over. He is still buffed, handsome and lights up her world, and she would be honored to marry him all over again. It will be a simple-themed medieval marriage ceremony. After Ron leaves her to make all the arrangements, he goes back to working on his motorcycle. With not much time to get the plan into motion, Bliss hurries to plan the event, but when Sir Garrick enters the picture, will it be a blessed day to remember or forget?
Just Ask is a great pick me up read. The story is fresh, the characters enchanting, and the marriage scene wonderfully done. I love the way Bliss and Ron made use of their wrists with the scarf instead of the rings. Sassy Sipe depicts a medieval wedding with pomp and circumstance that makes the reader feel as if they, too, have been invited to the ceremony. The lovely read shows that no matter how many years one has been in a relationship, real love lasts throughout the good, and the bad, and only grows stronger.
