James Williams’ life is not easy at the moment. His grandpa needs constant care and the hardware business he owns is going down the tubes fast. On top of that, he is coming to terms with his feelings of being gay. He wants to be a submissive and knows just the Dom to teach him. Unfortunately, that Dom does not go for his type, or so he thinks.
Soren is one of the bigger than life Dom's at the club Incognito. His life is in the doldrums after his lover of four yeas left him for someone with a bigger billfold. He loses himself in meaningless sex with subs that will do anything he asks. The last thing he wants is a newly out of the closet gay man in his bed, especially one with sad eyes.
James and Soren do not know what has hit them. Their attraction is nothing that either one is looking for. They may have gotten off to a rocky start but they both quickly discover they have a hard time not being with each other. Personal problems seem to hit them at every turn. Can two men that are not sure what they are looking for find the happiness they both deserve?
Strong characters, real life dilemmas, and thunderous physical pleasure abound in this story. I felt myself completely drawn into the drama that was plaguing James. His care of his grandfather and his personal conflicts were realistic and heartfelt. Soren's own demons were stark and raw; his reticence to become involved with James created the perfect amount of conflict to make the story a page-turner. The overall storyline was believable and well thought out. The sexual interaction was divine. Ms. Keaton had me guessing right up until the end.
