All they wanted was a little bit of fun and relaxation, not a dead man. After being shaken up by their discovery, Lexie and Hailey head home only to stop by the bookstore when they see a light on at two in the morning. After talking to Gina, the owner, they decided to buy the store from her and so their adventure begins. Hailey is an avid murder/mystery fan and so she decides to do some investigation of her own and involve a reluctant Lexie. But the deeper they get and the more they uncover leads to more questions than answers. They end up worrying if they will be the next victims if the killer or killers are not soon caught. With more bodies piling up, they know they are getting close to the truth. Can they find the killer themselves or will it end in their deaths?

What an amazing read! Ms. Perrin and Ms. Mott truly know how to write an enticing story. Between the two of them, their characters come to life as down-to-earth women who are both strong and stubborn which works very well for them. I loved the witty dialogue and the craziness that flows from the pages. The settings are wonderful and show a vivid imagination from both authors. They give a look at the Miami nightclub scene that most people have probably never scene and bring it to life. A wonderful book that I will surely treasure for years to come.
