HOT GEORGIA WINDS
Rating: 5 cups
Francesca Castile is an older rich woman, with great lifelong friends. She is divorced with one daughter, and is determined that she is not going to allow her friends to get her into trouble as they have in the past.
Brandyn Fontanelle is a high priced gigolo who has known nothing but the life of a male prostitute. Sold into prostitution when he was still a child, at thirty-five he is resigned to his life, though he longs for love and something more.
When Francesca’s friends buy her a night with Brandyn, she is stunned though amenable to the idea. However, something in Brandy’s eyes and words touch her heart, and it is not long before she learns his story. It only takes days for these two to fall in love, but Brandyn’s madame does not want to let him go. Brandyn with Francesca’s help manages to escape, and they marry, but the madame wants revenge. Will Brandyn and Francesca be able to stay alive long enough to thwart the madame, or will they lose each other as well as their lives?
Hot Georgia Winds tugged at my heartstrings from the very first pages. Ms. Boyett-Campo gives a realistic look into how some men end up as male prostitutes. She did not sugar coat it, and I appreciated that. The deep and abiding love that Brandyn and Francesca have for one another lives and breathes in the story. The love scenes are intense and emotional, and you get inside both the main characters minds making them very realistic. The suspense of wondering whether this couple will get to stay together keeps you on the edge of your seat until the very last page. This book in plain terms is a keeper, and I cannot recommend it enough!
