Heaven Diaz was raised a good Catholic girl and married a wonderful hardworking man, she does her best to be a good wife, and support her husband. But his frequent absences from home leave her lonely and she is not so sure their lavish lifestyle is supported by entirely legitimate means.

Ricardo Diaz has it made. A beautiful caring wife at home and a sexy bit of side action waiting for him whenever he wants it. He considers himself a businessman, with more money than he can spend. Who cares where the money comes as long as he gets it?

Heaven’s world starts to unravel and she is frightened and bewildered. Ricardo chooses to keep her in the dark. As things go from bad to worse will Heaven crumple under the pressure, or will those around her get a taste of Heaven’s fury?

I liked this book more than I thought I would. Heaven and Ricardo were very real characters despite the more fantastical aspects of the plot. I thought Ricardo’s love for his wife, despite his being unfaithful was true to life. The writing was very vivid, I felt as if I were watching a movie. The only thing I did not like was the way Heaven resolves the situation. It almost ruined the book for me.
