Dana Thunder Eagle has been living a half-life since the murder of her mother and husband two years ago by Rogan Fast Horse. Now her grandmother is calling her home.
Chase Iron Hand is a former Delta Force warrior, graduate of West Point and has just survived six months of imprisonment and torture in South America. His most important mission is about to begin.
Rogan Fast Horse murdered two people to get the ceremonial Storm Pipe and the power it holds. The powerful medicine man uses it to kill the Vice President of the United States and this is only the beginning. It is up to Dana who was destined to carry the pipe to reclaim it, but she needs the training and assistance that only Chase can provide.
This is a very fast paced suspense tale with elements of the supernatural. The book is loaded with Native American spiritual lore, which makes the story all the more interesting. I enjoyed the conflicts between the two main characters in the beginning and the well-written development of their relationship. The love scenes are quite sensual and the two main characters charismatic and intriguing. The subplot of the FBI agent and the psychic was also interesting. I really enjoyed the build up to the very exciting conclusion. This was a very enjoyable story that I recommend especially to those who enjoy a paranormal or Native American element in a story, but any fan of romantic suspense will enjoy it.
