Mercy Jones loves her job as a pet concierge at the posh Hush hotel. She gets to deal with animals which she does better than their owners. Being alone all the time stinks, but she is not sure she wants to have any relationships. Her life is not so great, but she does the best she can. When a new customer comes in with his dog, she simply cannot take her eyes off him.

Will Desmond feels very low. He does his best to keep his past a secret but is not sure he can keep his promise to his grandfather. All he wants when he sees Mercy is her in his bed. He knows he has to keep a low profile. He also wonders how things will be between them if she finds out what he is up to.

The hotel Hush has all kinds of clients. Mercy just enjoys working with the four legged variety. Her staff is wonderful to work with and she has even made a friend or two. She just hates being in her apartment with all her roommates. She wants a way out but is not sure if she will ever find one. Will sees Mercy and is completely captivated by her. His lust for her may not be right but he cannot control himself. He must stay focused on the objective at hand and not let his libido do the controlling for once.

Ms. Leigh has fabulous characters. I could feel for Mercy so much and how she was working so hard to improve her life. I really liked her. Will was fun but there were times I wanted to slap him upside the head. This was one steamy romance that had me fanning my face. I found the book attached to my hands because I did not want to put it down. I would love to see how the other books play out in this mini-series. This is one author who knows how to please!
