Sara Stark was adopted by the Knights and works for their company and now she is marrying Drake Knight. If only her mother did not want to take over the world, things would be perfect.

Drake Knight worries about his fiancée constantly since her capture by her mother and the evil Trifecta. The injections they gave her have changed her personality and he worries about her health.

When Trifecta causes massive destruction in the city of Toronto, the Knights have to get tough, even if it means turning Drake and Sara’s wedding into a planning and recruiting meeting. Disaster occurs here also making it imperative that Sara’s mother never become head of the Trifecta.

This story starts with a blatant take off of 9/11, the city of Toronto is bombed and hundreds killed. The main character apparently had a lot happen to her in a previous book and not all of that is clear and this tended to detract from my enjoyment of the story. The plot is full of action, adventure and romance and the main characters are very likeable. The varied settings add interest but the somewhat preachy dialogue and the impression that only Sara and Drake can save the world sounds like something out of a comic book. I get the feeling that the previous book set up a lot of the plot and would make things a bit more believable.
