Lori has it all, or so she thinks, until she finds her fiancé in bed with another woman. After kicking him out of her life, she realizes her next door neighbor and best friend Mike has been right all along in telling her to dump him.

Mike has had the hots for Lori since he moved in next door to her, but he thinks she is too sweet for the kind of sex he expects from his women. Also, he is not looking for happily ever after or any kind of long-term relationship, or so he thinks.

When Lori goes on a hunt for what she has been missing at a sex club called Expose, Mike does everything he can to discourage her, including bossing her around and trying to get her to stay away. Finally, when he realizes she is not going to stop going to the club of which he is also a member, he stakes his claim thinking to scare her into not attending. However, his plan backfires when he backs away from her after an extremely hot weekend together, and her ex pays an unexpected visit. Only time will tell if he will realize his true feelings before something drastic happens to Lori.

This is a very hot book, and one I enjoyed very much! I enjoyed reading about how Lori breaks out of her “good girl” mode, and shocks Mike. I also got a kick out Mike’s reaction to finding out that Lori was not necessarily as “sweet” as he thought. The sex is graphic, but very loving and sensual. The characters are realistic and easy to relate to, and they seem to walk off the pages.
