Reeve Robinson knows how to do his job and has always been nothing but professional. When The Clan assigns him to stop The Slavers, he knows what must be done and will do whatever it takes to see the mission through. After meeting Saree and spending an evening with her, he hates himself for what he must do. He hopes she will be able to understand why he has to drag her into this mission.

When Reeve kidnaps Saree and takes her to a house in the desert, his plan is to train her to be his sex slave in order to infiltrate The Slavers. He does not anticipate her strong will or how much he regrets having to do this to her. Saree cannot believe what is happening and the more Reeve keeps silent, the more she wants and needs to know about him. When they get their invitation to meet The Slavers and possibly save the women who have been taken, things begin to heat up, both with the mission and between them.

Ms. Harper is one of my favorite authors. She has shown me, yet again, why that is with this story. Her knowledge of the BDSM world is amazing and this story shows the seedier side of that world. I loved the suspense which kept me wondering just how far the characters were willing to go. The sex is steamy and hot enough to melt an iceberg. This is a definite must read if you are brave enough to venture into the world she has created.
