Laura Jayne never knew having a jinni around the house could be so complicated. She wishes Samir would give her alone time, especially when she is on a date.
Because of an evil curse, Samir is Laura’s for life. He wants to pamper her instead of having her spend all her hours working or finding the perfect mate.
Laura was nine when she learned she had a jinni bound to her for life. She would love to find the right man just like Samir, but she has never had any luck. Even her latest, Lewis, Samir believes might not be the right one, even though he treats her well. However, Laura refuses to heed the words of Samir. She feels Samir needs to stop invading her space. Samir is only looking out for Laura, not to mention he deep down loves her. Samir is bound to Laura. She was the last of her line which means if she is impregnated, her child will become Samir’s mistress or master. He has no idea how he will ever explain to her his true feelings and if Laura does decide to choose Lewis as her life partner, Samir will never have a chance. Laura finds herself torn in a relationship and when she turns to Samir, she learns it could cause anticipations neither ever imagined.
Genie, No Bottle is a story that won my heart. I could feel the tug of Samir’s heartstrings as he longs for Laura. It was just a sweet romance that seemed to capture time. They are two characters who make this story almost real. Nina Merrill creates a delightful read that shows emotions, wonderful visualization and passion that speaks softly. She pens a captivating tale that is entertaining and leaves the reader with a wonderful feeling inside.
