Felice and Brom are tossed from one adventure to the other, with each situation getting more and more dangerous. And why does everyone think Felice knows more about the audit than she does? Will Brom be able to keep her safe?

While the plot was interesting, I did not care for this book. The characters were somewhat flat for me and I did not care at all for the dialogue. Felice comes off as whiny and Brom never really came alive for me. I found the sex written in an unattractive manner. All in all a very hard read for me.
