Damien Dracon was finally home. After being gone for three long years, he was glad to be back and more than ready to right a very serious wrong. He wanted the love of his life back, no matter what it took.
Alicia Stevens ran the Dew Drop Café like her life depended on it. The café was the only thing that kept her going after the losing the man of her dreams and then their child.
Damien knew that seeing Alicia and explaining himself and his family secret was his top priority. His grandfather had forced him to leave her behind or be banished from the family. Now that his grandfather had passed away, Damien was ready to retake his life and his love. He just hoped that he could convince Alicia that his love for her was as strong as ever. Alicia had been devastated when Damien left. He had made their love out to be a joke and then just took off. Seeing him again brought back all of the pain and heartache, but the longing to be with him was still there.
This story was both tender and sad. Damien was torn between the love for a wonderful woman and his family’s long held traditions. Keeping his secret from Alicia was no longer an option and he opened his heart to get her back. Alicia had every right to hate Damien for what he did, but could not. One look into his beautiful sad eyes and all the love they shared came flooding back. A touching love story with a unique twist made this a very enjoyable read.
