Cecil Wyatt, a multimillionaire, not only has lost his son, but now his grandson is missing.
William, the grandson of Cecil, and half- brother of Mitchell, is missing and suspicion points to Mitchell.
Gary Elliot, a hero to the cops, is a hardcore lawyer out to protect the public from dubious characters.
Evan, Kate’s boyfriend, believes that taking Kate to the Caribbean would help comfort her over the loss of her father. He had no idea it would break up their relationship.
Kate is trying to cope with her grief after her father dies. She was certain that being alone with Evan would help but after spilling a Bloody Mary on Mitchell Wyatt things really take a major shift in her life. Mitchell has a reputation that often leaves him as an unlikable guy but in Kate’s eyes, he is nothing like the other men she has encountered. Kate falls hard for him but when he leaves and Evan returns, she quickly learns that Mitchell is shacking up with Caroline, William’s wife. In fact, he quickly moved in with her right after William’s disappearance. Kate is not happy with the situation and more so when she learns that she is pregnant. It was two people on a tropical island and the romance just happened to fill the moment when Kate discovered herself in the arms of the enigmatic Mitchell, but when a murder case begins to follow her, Kate finds herself in the middle. Gary is hot on the trail delving into Mitchell’s life and everyone that comes in contact with him. He is determined to find out the whereabouts of William and who is behind the disappearance.
