A Hell of a Time by Jackie Kessler

Hell of a Time is a heck of a fun read. This short story gave me a glimpse at an entertaining storyline with characters established in Kessler’s much-lauded debut novel Hell’s Belles. The writing is sexy, sassy, and slightly supernatural--a great page-turner.

City of Demons by Richelle Mead

Jealousy taunts Georgie as Seth shows more interest in hanging out at the café than with her. Meantime, she is the only wicked one on the jury interested in discovering the truth behind the trial--who really exploded the evil-doer?

City of Demons is a devilishly charming tale. Georgie is believably conflicted and humorously afflicted by the trials’ demon defendants. The characters are vivid and colorful, the story enjoyable.

Eternal Lover is an altogether entertaining anthology filled with hours of literary enjoyment. Each story contributes humor, colorful characters, and sensual romance in their own unique ways.
