Prince Aarik, one of the winged princes, is willing to do whatever is necessary to save
his people from the strange illness striking them down, one by one. This includes
marrying a woman from another realm, one he has never met. He sees Hope for the
first time and knows she is the one for him.
On planet H’trae, a deadly illness has struck even the strongest of the Ceyans. When
the Ancient Ones are consulted, they have but one solution to the problem, The’Ran’s, a
race of healers thought to be extinct. The Ancient Ones agree to help, but at a price.
Each prince must marry one of the The’Ran women. The couple must find their way
through their new relationship and, at the same time, Hope must help heal Aarik’s
people.
This fast-paced novella is filled with sensual scenes between the hero and heroine, as
well as a few laughs at Hope’s reactions to her new home. But I do wish that more
information about the planet and the illness had been included. However, this is part
three in the series, and this may have been covered in the previous stories. If you want
a fast hot read, then do not miss this book.
