Dain Hawkins, a sorcerer, is almost like a magician buying up foundering companies and turning them into moneymakers. But saving his wife and daughter from the clutches of demons was out of his hands and now he blames himself.

Vivien Cairn is an assistant professor of Anthropology at the University of Toronto. Of late, she has been having blackouts, often losing up to twelve hours, and fears someone is watching her. Her father left when she was two, her boyfriend was killed in a terrible crash, all of which made her learn to be tough.

Dain is aware hybrids that were once human are robbing graves all over. He is determined to find out just what the brutish creatures are up to. Vivien is being watched and has no idea by whom. Dain comes to her rescue and will do anything for her. Once she is in his care, he offers her shelter and protection. Rage and anger have a way of overpowering Dain, and if a demon grabs Vivien, he will do everything in his power to destroy it. As Vivien and Dain slowly feel a growing attraction, a killer prepares a plan to outwit them. Will Dain be strong enough to protect her from any evil source or will they both be sucked into the evil?

Ouch, I could almost feel the sting of the sharp claw of the taloned hand -- that is how incredibly visual Demon’s Hunger is, once it captures the reader. The danger and conflict surmounts leaving the reader breathless for answers. Eve Silver creates a stunning tale filled with passion, intrigue, and dazzling characters that leap off the pages. She makes her characters realistic and the villains dangerously wicked. With a magnitude of chemistry between the two likeable players of Vivien and Dain, Eve Silver indeed kept this reader on the edge of the seat. Her compelling writing is spellbinding. She spins an extraordinarily tale that bewitches the reader and sweeps them instantly into all the action in this mesmerizing read.
