| DARK ELVES 1: TAKEN JET MYKLES ISBN #: 1-59632-096-6 March 2005 Loose-ID Publishing www.loose-id.com E-Book $5.99 143 Pages Paranormal BDSM Rating: Diana and her comrade, Gala, are captured in a haunted forest by the raedjour, beautiful beings with obsidian skin and shockingly white hair. These men are designed by a goddess to sexually pleasure women who cannot resist them. The raedjour need women for more than sex and each hope to one day find their truemate, the one woman he can love. Gala realizes that she will never leave captivity and begins looking aggressively for her truemate and trying to build a happy life. Diana is a fighter and battles her captivity and Salin, the raedjour who is perfect for her. He is a glorious warrior who knows Diana is his truemate, but wants her to accept him apart from the sexual attraction. As wonderful as Diana finds Salin, can she put aside the pride that has sustained her for years for a life that appears to violate everything she believes? Gala's resolve to make the best of her new life is touching, but the main story is Diana and her fight against her own sexual reactions to the raedjour. This is written wonderfully. Salin is nearly perfect in appearance and in his dedication to Diana's happiness. He is willing to try anything to please her and will make any sacrifice. Dark Elves 1: Taken by Jet Mykles is excellent. Go out and buy this book. Once readers get over the shocking plot, they will love how the story progresses. The characters are diverse with fascinating personalities, from jealous lovers, self-absorbed bullies, and dream-like heroes. This is the first book I have read by Ms. Mykles, and I am anxiously waiting for her next one. Dark Elves 1: Taken has added bonus, a number of explicit graphics depicting scenes within the book. This unique aspect to an outstanding novel makes Taken an excellent addition to my library. Anya Khan Reviewer for Karen Find Out About New Books Reviewer for Coffee Time Romance |
