Ainsley is having a really bad night. It is freezing here in Denver, and her car is gone. Replacing a stolen car would put a serious dent in her European trip fund, and her teacher's salary does not lend itself to taxi rides indefinitely. Things are looking up. The handsomest man she has ever seen has just shown up and is offering to keep her company while she deals with the police and then will drive her home.

Noble has finally met the woman of his dreams. He has been waiting for her since the day she was born, and things in the vampire world have finally settled down enough for him to make contact with her. As the servant of the Master Vampire his time is not his own, and trouble between the weres of the city might ruin his plans for Ainsley.

A vampire only usually has one chance at their soul mate. After four hundred years, Noble has found his, but his obligations to his Master and the fact that Ainsley is human and does not believe in vampires can put a real crimp in his plans, and put her in danger.

This is an entertaining vampire romance. I really liked Ainsley and Noble, both are willing to fight to be together. The author tells a wonderful story of a schoolteacher falling into a scary world that she was totally unaware of, and is not sure that she wants to be a part of now. Noble seems to be worth all her effort and this is a very enjoyable read.
