Abigail Adler has had a bad couple of weeks but with her escape, life is looking up. She was bitten and changed without her input or approval. The alpha of her new pack is determined she will be his. Abigail is willing to risk her life to escape that particular future.
Keith Winston is weary from fighting the European war between wizards and werewolves that wages on without him. He has returned to Red Rock Pass for a well-earned break.
Keith meets Abigail when he is sent out to rescue the wolves seeking sanctuary from an abusive alpha. Abigail is confused by her reaction to Keith but is positive she never wants to leave his side. The alpha she is running from kidnaps Abigail’s sister in his determination to lure her back to him where she belongs.
Cry Sanctuary is a well-written story with a superb story line. Moira Rogers uses words to create a believable world despite the paranormal characters in it. Red Rock and the werewolf towns that span the globe are portrayed so as to actually feel like a sanctuary for anyone in need. The love and need created by the author are expressed with a great passion. This portrayal shows the author’s true understanding of a passionate relationship and to what lengths someone will go for love. The emotions and confusion of both main characters come across as rich and meaningful. Moira Rogers is an outstanding author, and I look forward to reading the next story in the Red Rock series.
