Ander Slade, a former officer with the GEA is now commander of the Helos space
station. All on the space station answer to him, that includes the newest arrival, one
Isabet Renard, who he feels an attraction to from the first.
On Helos, anything you want is possible. Your wildest fantasies are at your fingertips, for
a price. Pleasure bots, created expressly to please serve the lucky visitors; but, the
Cosmic Cops keep the peace. Isabet, while enjoying the wonderful selections on board,
longs for the feel of a real man in her arms and in her bed. Helos has that covered. She
arranges a meeting between herself and a mystery lover known only as Smoke to her
Lilac. The attraction is immediate and red hot. Each time they succumb to the
temptation, both feel a deeper connection. However Cynara, the owner of Club X, has
her own plans that may come between the two lovers.
This book, while not all that long, is packed with hot love scenes, some of which involve
the pleasure bots while the majority involve Smoke and Lilac. The fact that they never
saw one another’s faces added a level of mystery and excitement to the tale as well. A
wonderful, fast, steamy read that packs a punch and satisfies right up to the end. If this
is a series, I am ready for another dose of Cosmic Cops.
