This dark and intense book pulls you in and stirs the emotion. I found the plot a little hard to follow, and the pace a bit scattered early on. Overall, this story was an enjoyable read packed with surprises and suspense. The scorching hot sex blended, instead of feeling gratuitous. In the end, Ms. Li’s writing brought tears to my eyes and I cheered wholeheartedly for Cole, Cam, and Bobby.
