Kelly has been running for a long time, but she feels much safer in Snake Bayou,
Mississippi, which seems like the end of the world. Unfortunately, her ex-husband’s
head henchman finds her. J. T. agrees to keep her safe, but he has a secret, one that
may break them apart before they even have a chance.
I am a sucker for romantic suspense, so this book was right up my alley. J. T. is my
favorite kind of man, decent, warm; and of course, sexy. Kelly is no cream puff either,
refusing to sit back and let someone save her. Their fight to stay together, despite
everything stacked against them, kept me reading long into the night just to see how it
would end. I was not disappointed at all. With well written, vivid characters and the
added backdrop of the Louisiana swamp, this book is a must read.
