I loved this book! It is one of the best I have read all year. The author makes magic and divinity into something easily recognizable in the everyday, so simple and yet so complex. I loved Sam’s fight with himself to be whole and the person he should be and the way Hector, embodies all the qualities of love, from the nurturing, caring to the obsessively jealous. The gods Sam worships are unique and original. I highly recommend this read!
