Something Old, Something New

Liza Dearborne is a sensible girl who always wanted the perfect wedding but her plans are dashed when her fiancé elopes with someone else. She feels horrible and needs a new lease on life.

Marcus Sutton finds the catering business very fulfilling and does not care for competition. Little does he know that he will soon get another chance at love.

Being jilted and having to cancel all the wedding arrangements is awful for Liza. When she goes to talk to the caterer, she finds herself working with the handsome owner. After that, she seems to run into him everywhere. Warm feelings start to blossom and Liza needs to figure out what is going on.

Liza struggles with her feelings because she does not want to jump into a new relationship. Yet Marcus keeps pursuing her. Ms. Hamby presents a delightful story that will keep you in stitches.

Something Borrowed

Leah Tillman is very shy and takes all the negative things said about her to heart. She knows the kind of man she needs in her life, but can she accept the grace given to her or will she run?

Scott Delaney is determined to marry the woman he wants, but knows he needs to be patient. Can he overcome his irrational side to woo his love the proper way?

Scott Delaney struggles with his feelings quite often and finds that being head over heels in love is not easy. He cares more about what is on the inside of people than what is on the outside. Leah does not find herself beautiful, but Scott cannot take his eyes off of her. He does not want to be pushy, but has he waited to long to ask Leah to marry him?

A struggle with beliefs is difficult. Ms. Kinnard shows that relying on your faith helps you get through tough times. Even Leah came to realize that Scott truly cared about her.

Something Blue

Petra's father died and she is battling to save his cannery. The one comfort she has is Nathan. They have known each other for so long that she trusts him completely. But she needs more from John and has questions about marrying him.

Nathan Saunders has always known he was to become a minister. He is a man of God and has high morals and one weakness, his childhood friend Petra. He does not know how to share his feelings with her. Will he ever learn?

On their weekly Sunday walk, Petra tells Nathan that in three weeks she will marry John Peters. Nathan did not see this coming. Now he must figure out what he wants before he loses his confidence. Petra wants to save the town by marrying John and cannot see the man who really adores her.

Lyndell King shows one's plans may not fit with God’s plan. Nathan must learn to stand up for what is right even if it does not include Petra in his life. He wants her to be happy but is not sure how she can be with her chosen new life.

These are all great love stories with decisions to be made so things can be done correctly. Sometimes the decisions are rash, but the heart leads all the way. These wedding stories touched my heart, making me wish I could get married all over again.
