But when a man captivates his attention, offers him a drink, his world is turned upside down. He wakes to find himself blindfolded, groggy and bound to a strangers bed. Upon waking, he discovers he has been rescued by a very attractive man with a luxurious sense of style and a delicious body.

As Blue regains his health, he makes a deal with Derek to do anything and everything for him if he’s allowed to live with him. Seeing his opportunity for the perfect sexual prisoner and partner, Derek agrees. The two start to explore darker fantasies, despite each of them having their secrets.

This was a moving tale of two men struggling to overcome past issues. Derek’s character though well written could have benefited from more description. The writer showcased a few of the sides of a gay male teenager without going too far. Toward the end I found myself turning the pages faster to find out what would happen and if the couple would survive. Ms. Strauss’s attention to detail in gay sex was spot on in many instances. I will enjoy seeing more from Katrina Strauss in the future.
