Gracie Simmons immediately puts her guard up when Nick walks into her office. She knows that he is working a brutal serial killer case and it is just adding to his depression. With a stalker and a murderer on the loose, Nick is the only man that she feels safe with.

Gracie is patient with Nick and only wants to help him as she does her other patients. When her stalker tries to break into her house, Nick comes running. With a murderer killing the women that Nick has dated, he knows it would be dangerous to get too close to Gracie. Little do they know, the killer is closer than they think and out for revenge.

Spine tingling....page turning suspense with thrills and chills thrown in for good measure. I can truly imagine that Gracie was doing her best to help her patients and that Nick was doing all he could to catch a killer. The scenes were well thought out and the backdrop of New Orleans just added to the excitement. With every chapter there is something new and more sinister waiting for the reader. More clues that lead to an even deeper mystery. Ms. Atkins has done her research well on the city of New Orleans and police lingo and procedure. Bravo for a job very well done and a wonderful story line to back it up.
