Althea Yates is a vampire hunter who herself is being hunted in her dreams by not one but two vampires. They do not want to kill her, however, just satisfy their lust for something other than blood; it is her they want.
Yannick de Wynter, the Earl of Brookshire, has been haunted by dreams of a red haired woman who is innocent yet fans his desires like no other he has known. He must find her, and a way to defeat a powerful vampire, before his time runs out.
Sebastian de Wynter, twin brother to the earl, lies imprisoned by the very vampire Althea and her father wish to destroy. He too shares the dreams with Althea and Yannick. When he sees Althea for the first time, he knows that he wants her, but that, as always, his brother has been there first. Will he help them or betray them both?
Althea is a vampire hunter just like her father. But she is seduced first by her dreams, then the reality, of the brothers called the Demon Twins. Yannick has made a deal with the devil and his time is almost up. Bastien is newly freed but bitter at always coming second to his brother, and therefore susceptible to Zayan’s lies. Even though they are vampires, she cannot resist their charms. Nor does she really want to because one is strong and the other seems to need her; both claim her heart. However, Zayan is a ruthless vampire who wishes to destroy them all and will not stop at using her as a tool to do it. With her father sending her away and her own misgivings about the lifestyle she will have to choose barring their way, will the Demon Twins find a way to make Althea their own or will their souls be lost forever?
Ms Page pens an erotically charged tale about a woman who must be strong enough to stand up and chose something that was not done in her day and time. But she has also written a wonderful action-packed story that combines suspense, intrigue, horror, bondage and yes, a whole lot of sex. The ‘will she and when?’ keeps you guessing until the end. The author sweeps you from inn to graveyard to ballroom to bedroom, then back again so quickly it will take your breath away. I liked that the heroine is no pushover, but is still an innocent that learns as she goes along, albeit very quickly. The two heroes were a mix of strength and vulnerability that Ms Page got just right. This story is chock full of molten hot sex, a wicked villain, and a veritable host of other characters that I hope means more to come.
