Or will things turn out to be the same as before?

Charles needed a new tenant and did not expect anything in the form of John. When the mysterious man's nature slowly gets under his skin, Charles realizes that he needs a different way to approach the hesitant tenant. But will he be able to make a dent into the armor John carries around him 24-7?

John had enough with his old residence, suffering from privacy invasion to harassment. Yet with this new landlord, he idly wonders the possibility of something more, as the circumstances are not only different, but also better. In order for something more to happen though, he has to let down his guard long enough to see what is out there.

This brief story by author Jules Jones is a twist of something different for any reader. Having the lead character mysterious and withheld about his tastes and passions, it draws readers into the life and thought processes he is going through. Though parts of the story were somewhat hindering and slowed the development of the storyline, this book overall was enjoyable for this reviewer.
