The Baltic tales are part stories that have happened between the books of Mark of the Blood and Call of the Wylde about the Maraigh brothers. There are nine Maraigh brothers. Miach being the oldest, Donal, Finn, Niam, Cuin, Dylan, Elathan, Cadrus and Owain.
Goddess Morrigu cursed these brothers unjustly. When she realized her mistake, all she could do was give them a way for freedom of the curse by way of a soul mate. They each while protecting their world from evil look for their possible mate, that some may or may not ever find.
The Maraighs are now known as the Marauders, each cursed and going on quests. Such as Samhain Healing where Kirstie is pregnant but she was injected by something toxic by the evil Taranis. Now bringing together the brothers and the Goddess Morrigu to try and heal Kirstie, but is the poison gone too far? In Imbolic Fire where Finn and Cuin go to bring back the stone of fal with the help of the Goddess Brigid’s daughter Scarlet MacNess who is blind, but together they also learn to heal their pain. St. Patrick’s Chug and Chase where Cadrus challenges a leprechaun without knowing and ends up helping out. Michael Padrig and Frelin go on a quest to find who is trying to open the gateway between the worlds. The quests and tales go on with a few other tales in this book.
This is a fascinating combination of action, adventure and erotic sex. Ms. Tregarth wanted her readers to see what happens between the books she has already written about the Maraigh brothers. These tales add another dimension to the books and gives the reader, especially the ones who have read the book a more in depth look. For the readers who have not read the series, these short tales will have you falling in love with these brothers and to find out what happens to each and every one. An exceptional adaptation for the books written and a magnificent way to introduce you to these amazing characters.
